About Centralized Parking Plaza (CPP)

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority's (JNPA) significant initiative the Centralized Parking Plaza (CPP) facilitates the Ease of Doing at the port. CPP symbolizes JNPA's endeavors towards humanizing convenience for truck drivers. Moreover, it also aims at upscaling the maritime business by digitizing the processes.

Distinguishing Features of CPP

  • Consolidated parking facility for Tractor Trailers carrying factory stuffed undocumented export containers to help integrate document processing by Customs
  • Facilities and amenities provided at subsidized rates for truck drivers, including a 50-bed dormitory, cafeteria, well-maintained toilets, and specific areas for vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Cost and time-saving, environment-friendly value-added services such as Open Examination of Containers spread over 1.39 hectares and Buffer Yard Facility with a stacking capacity of 4500 TEU's
  • Fuel-saving initiatives including a plugging facility for 130 reefer containers
  • One-stop solution for export containers with Weigh-Bridges at eight entry gates for imperative cargo weighing
  • Real-Time Parking Management system to decongest container truck traffic on JNPA roads
  • Automated processes via CPP VISION X web application providing cashless transactions and real-time Tracker Trailer location tracking
  • Outsourcing plaza operations to M/s. Divvya CPP Pvt. Ltd for efficient management

Furthermore, installation of a mobile Container Scanner for Export containers is underway and will be available for customers soon.

The CPP is a transformative facility designed to resolve Nhava-Sheva's historical congestion and logistical bottlenecks. Before CPP's inception, traffic, accidents, and delays plagued the area. Now, with state-of-the-art infrastructure across 45 hectares, the CPP has reduced container dwell time from 24 to just 5.5 hours, supporting seamless, efficient operations under one roof.
